South Florida Roofing — Two Counties, One Licensed Contractor

Miami-Dade and Broward are among the most demanding roofing markets in the country. Both counties are in the HVHZ (the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone), where every material must carry Miami-Dade or Broward NOA approval, every installation must be permitted, and the inspection process is more rigorous than most of the country. That's not a burden: it's the baseline for protecting your property against South Florida's weather.

We hold both licenses required for full-scope roofing work in Florida: CGC1541144 (Certified General Contractor) and CCC1337790 (Certified Roofing Contractor). The dual license matters for commercial buildings, condo associations, and apartment complexes where a GC license is required by the building department in addition to the CCC. Most roofing companies hold only one of the two.

Select your city below for detailed information about roofing in that specific market: local permit processes, common roof types, typical costs, and what makes that community's building environment unique.

Miami Beach →

Condo boards here answer to §718.112's reserve-study rules before they answer to us. We document scope and cost the way an association's engineer expects to see it, on oceanfront high-rises and Historic District homes alike.

33010 · 33012 · 33016 · 33018

Hialeah →

Hialeah and Hialeah Gardens run separate building departments, so we pull the permit from whichever one actually covers your address. Most of the flat-roof housing stock here dates to the 1950s-70s, and our estimators work it in Spanish as often as English.

33175 · 33183 · 33186

Kendall →

Kendall is tile-dominant, and it's where we got our start. We know which HOA architectural committees require a same-color reroof and which ones don't.

33122 · 33166 · 33178

Doral →

Doral is Miami-Dade's fastest-growing city, and most roofs here are still under their original builder's warranty. We check what that warranty actually covers before pricing a repair over it.

33134 · 33146

Coral Gables →

Coral Gables' ARC signs off on tile color and profile before the county issues a permit. We submit for ARC approval first, not after, on every reroof in the Historic District.

33160 · 33161 · 33162

North Miami & North Miami Beach →

A lot of North Miami and North Miami Beach's waterfront housing stock is approaching the end of its roof life at the same time. We serve the area's English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole communities and can usually tell you over the phone whether a roof is a repair or a replacement.

Fort Lauderdale

Coming Soon

Broward County hub, from waterfront estates to commercial properties, built to Broward's Building Code.

Broward County

Pembroke Pines →

Pembroke Pines HOA and condo boards get a proposal built around their reserve study, not a generic quote. We coordinate directly with the board and document everything to HVHZ code.

Broward County

Miramar →

Miramar's commercial and multifamily boards get the same board-ready documentation as Pembroke Pines, plus a 3-5 day vendor onboarding turnaround for property managers who need it fast.

Miami-Dade County

Pinecrest →

Pinecrest's premium tile and metal roofs get a line-item scope, not a lump sum, permitted through the Village of Pinecrest. Where the existing tile can be reused, we replace only the underlayment beneath it.

Miami-Dade County

Homestead →

Homestead carries the highest mainland wind exposure in Miami-Dade, so fastening schedules here run tighter than code minimum on every NOA-approved product we install, permitted through the City of Homestead.

Broward County

Hollywood →

A lot of Hollywood's older low-slope commercial roofs are candidates for a recover instead of a full tear-off. We tell you which before we price it, using marine-grade fasteners and built to Broward's 170-mph-class HVHZ code.

Broward County

Hallandale Beach →

Hallandale Beach is mostly low- and mid-rise condo and amenity-deck work for us, board-ready and documented to HVHZ code. True high-rise jobs we refer out rather than take on past our depth.

33196

The Hammocks →

The Hammocks roofing, impact windows, and impact doors from Robson Industrial Group — Kendall is where we started, and we can usually get a crew out the same week.

33144 · 33165

Westchester →

Westchester is unincorporated Miami-Dade along the Tamiami Trail corridor, so permits go through Miami-Dade County, not a separate city hall. Roofing, impact windows, and impact doors from Robson Industrial Group (based in Blue Lagoon, Miami).

33143 · 33156

Glenvar Heights →

Glenvar Heights is unincorporated Miami-Dade between Coral Gables and South Miami, so permits go through Miami-Dade County, not a city building department. Roofing, impact windows, and impact doors from Robson Industrial Group (based in Blue Lagoon, Miami).

33182 · 33184 · 33194

Tamiami →

Tamiami is unincorporated southwest Miami-Dade, so permits go through Miami-Dade County, not a city building department. Roofing, impact windows, and impact doors from Robson Industrial Group (based in Blue Lagoon, Miami).

33165 · 33173

Olympia Heights →

Olympia Heights is unincorporated Miami-Dade next to Westchester, so permits go through Miami-Dade County, not a city building department. Roofing, impact windows, and impact doors from Robson Industrial Group (based in Blue Lagoon, Miami).

Miami-Dade County

Palmetto Bay →

Coastal Palmetto Bay roofing with corrosion-correct materials: painted aluminum standing-seam and salt-spec fasteners. HVHZ code, permitted through the Village of Palmetto Bay.

Miami-Dade County

Cutler Bay →

Cutler Bay's post-Andrew housing stock sits low and close to the coast, permitted through the Town. We schedule reroofs around hurricane season and default to repair-vs-replace under SB-4D before recommending a full tear-off.

Service Area Questions

What areas does Robson Industrial Group serve?
Robson Industrial Group serves Miami-Dade and Broward counties in South Florida. Our primary markets include Miami Beach, Hialeah, Kendall, Doral, Coral Gables, North Miami, and surrounding communities. We serve both residential and commercial properties. Call us at (954) 546-4161 to confirm coverage for your address.
Do you serve all of Miami-Dade County?
Yes. Miami-Dade is our home county and we work throughout it — from Miami Beach and the coastal communities to western areas like Kendall, Doral, and Hialeah. The entire county is in the HVHZ (High-Velocity Hurricane Zone), which means we're permitted, NOA-compliant, and experienced with Miami-Dade-specific building code requirements on every job.
Do you work in Broward County too?
Yes, we cover select areas of Broward County including Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Cooper City, Hollywood, and surrounding communities. Broward County is also in the HVHZ, and we hold active Florida roofing (CCC1337790) and general contractor (CGC1541144) licenses covering all of Florida.
Do you handle commercial roofing in addition to residential?
Yes. Our CGC1541144 license allows us to work on commercial buildings, apartment complexes, condo associations, retail, and other commercial properties — not just single-family homes. Our CCC1337790 covers all roofing work. Many contractors hold only a CCC; the dual license matters for larger or more complex projects.
