Paying for a New Roof or Impact Windows in Miami-Dade & Broward
A new roof or a full set of impact windows is a real expense, and how you pay for it depends on your situation. Some jobs go through insurance, some are out of pocket, and some are financed. Here’s an honest rundown so you can plan: no payment-plan pressure, no padding a job to fit a monthly number.

How it works, start to finish
The price comes first. How you pay for it comes after.
- We inspect and measure the job. Free for homeowners, at your home, with nothing to sign.
- You get one written, line-item price that includes the permit and all the work in the scope (tear-off included on a re-roof).
- You choose how to pay: insurance, paying directly, or asking us about third-party financing.
- We pull the permit under our licence, do the work, and schedule every required inspection through final sign-off.
Three honest ways people pay for this work
Most projects fall into one of these. Knowing which is yours is the first step to planning it.
1. Insurance. If your roof was damaged by a storm, this may be a claim rather than a purchase. We’ll document the damage thoroughly for your adjuster: photos, measurements, the cause. But we won’t inflate a claim or promise you a “free roof.” That kind of talk is how homeowners and contractors get in trouble. We document honestly and let the claim stand on the facts.
2. Out of pocket. A planned replacement on an aging roof is usually a straightforward purchase. You get a written, line-item scope (including our per-sheet decking allowance, so there are no surprise change orders) and you know the number before we start.
3. Financing. Financing may be available through third-party providers, subject to their approval and terms. Ask us for details. Whatever the program, you’ll always see the total project price in writing first; financing is a way to pay that price, not a reason to raise it.
Financing through outside providers
Financing may be available through third-party providers, subject to their approval and terms. Ask us for details.
Whatever the program, the rules we hold to don’t change: you’ll see the total project price in writing first, the financing is a way to pay that price (not a reason to raise it), and we’ll never pressure you into a plan or a same-day signature. The provider, not Robson, sets its own terms and makes its own approval decisions; we don’t provide tax or financial advice.

“We finally got rid of those old noisy windows! I am so happy with how the new impact ones turned out. The house is completely quiet now, like we don’t even hear the street traffic or the neighbor’s dogs anymore. …”

What we won’t do
The financing conversation is where a lot of home-improvement companies get slippery, so here’s our line: we won’t quote you a monthly payment instead of a real price, we won’t pad a job to make a payment plan look good, we won’t use a “this rate expires tonight” trick, and we won’t steer you toward financing when paying directly or going through insurance is genuinely better for you. The goal is the right roof at an honest price — the payment method comes after that.
Questions worth asking any contractor
Before you finance a roof with anyone, ask: Is this a price or a payment? What’s the total cost, in writing? If it’s a promo rate, what happens when the promo ends? Is there a prepayment penalty? Who is the actual lender? A contractor who answers those plainly is one you can work with.
