Roofing & Impact Protection
in Hialeah

Most of Hialeah is flat or low-slope, and a flat roof does not fail the way a tile roof fails. There is no cracked tile to point at. It leaks at the parapet, the drain or the flashing, and it shows up as a stain on a ceiling twenty feet from the actual hole. We work this market in Spanish and English, on houses, small apartment buildings and storefronts. Licensed CCC1337790 and CGC1541144.

Flat and low-slope roofs need a different playbook

On a Hialeah flat roof the leak is almost never out in the middle of the field. It is at the parapet wall, where the base flashing was lapped the wrong way and water runs behind it instead of over it. Or it is a drain that was never reset when the last roof went on, so the new membrane sits a half-inch proud of it and the roof holds water every time it rains.

Ponding is the thing to take seriously. Standing water is weight, and it finds every seam it can. We work in modified bitumen and, where the deck and the slope genuinely suit it, reflective coating. A coating over a wet roof buys you nothing. It traps the moisture and you pay twice, so we cut a test patch and look before we quote one.

Repair and maintenance, done straight

Plenty of the calls we get in Hialeah are repairs, and they stay repairs. A split at a seam, one failed drain, a boot gone hard around a vent. If the field of the roof has years left we say so and fix the part that failed. For an owner with a building or half a block, that is the difference between a roof budget and a roof emergency, and it is why those owners keep calling.

Bilingual from the first call to the closed permit

Hialeah is one of the most Spanish-dominant cities in the country and we work it that way, in Spanish or English from the estimate through the final walk-through. Permits run through the City of Hialeah’s own building department, to the same HVHZ standard as the rest of Miami-Dade. We pull them under our license and hand you the closed-out paperwork at the end. Ver esta página en español →

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work in Spanish in Hialeah?
Yes — Spanish-first, end to end. From the estimate through the City of Hialeah permit and the final walk-through, you can work with us in Spanish or English. Sí, le atendemos en español.
My flat roof leaks — do I need a whole new roof?
Not always. Flat and low-slope roofs often fail at the drains, parapets, and flashings, and many of those are repairable. We fix what can be fixed and tell you honestly when a coating buys real years versus when it’s just postponing a re-roof.
Do you do small apartment buildings and storefronts?
Yes. Hialeah’s mix of single-family homes, small multifamily, and storefronts is core to how we work this city — residential roofing, low-slope commercial systems, and coatings, with owner-direct scheduling.
Who permits roofing in Hialeah?
The City of Hialeah’s own building department, to the same HVHZ standards as the rest of Miami-Dade. We pull the permit under our license and schedule the inspections.
Is Hialeah in the HVHZ?
Yes — all of Miami-Dade is in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (roughly 175 mph Risk Category II), with HVHZ-rated NOA or Florida-Product-Approval products required.
